Who We Are

We are a married couple, and besides love, we are united by our shared creative work. We adore the scent of late afternoon sunrays in the countryside, a blooming meadow swaying gently in the breeze that turns it into a shimmering sea, and on its shore, a picnic basket filled with fruit, seafood, and fine wine. Similarly, we find joy in capturing with our camera the smile on the faces of good people, preserving it for the future.

However, we don’t just aim to document a person’s life and significant events. We strive for our photographs and short films to have a spirit in which people recognize themselves. So that one day, when they look at old photos or watch film footage, they can feel the scent of spring air, recall the taste of a favorite restaurant’s meal, or the touch of a loved one.
We try to make every shoot a unique experience, so people feel our full attention and can open up to show their true selves.

Zita is an experienced photographer and art therapist. Through her images, she offers people the opportunity to connect not only with their surroundings but also to find a deeper connection with themselves.

Zita is also an acclaimed poet, playwright, and author of several books translated into foreign languages. Most recently, she received the main V. Burian Award in Olomouc in 2024.

Jiří studied photography at the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Brno, followed by FAMU in Prague. He works as a film director and cinematographer. He is the author of several feature-length documentary films that have been awarded at international festivals.

He played the role of a photographer on camera in a 2018 Czech Television project titled That Moment.
Winner of the Frame 2010 photography competition – Leica Gallery Prague.
